yes.

but put it like this, sometimes when some of my plants have rootbound in flowering, ive added soil.

but its usually all unused by end of flowering, or mostly, so now, when this happens, i just add an inch of soil and a bit around the sides (usually the soil level has sagged bit anyways in the container)

seems to be enough. mj plants dont grow much roots in flowering. (

but if its definetly showing signs of rootbound and growth slowing down, yes i would do it, six weeks or not.

i dont really get that shocking plants, iv never seen that and im just careful, but it only takes a minute to transplant.
there must be some incredible fumblefingers out there.

i find it best to transplant when very dry, just hold the plant by the lowest part of the stem (depending on its strength)
upend the pot, slightly tap the end, out slides the plant and into another container i have made preready.

make sure its snug in there and water heavily (till i get about 1/4 runoff(at least a saucerfull))

usually i see improvement in growth in hours.

i think the biggest problem comes from overworrying (nervousness makes you fumble and fuck up)
its just a plant, easier to grow than many, if not most.

its only worth its weight in gold in the minds of people. it isnt any different than growing other plants (slightly harder to grow than cabbage, slightly easier than peppers, which is a personal observance, not fact though (how hard to grow) :D)

Transplanting when the soil is a bit moist is best. Then again it wont matter the plant is most likely rooted very well into that pot.

Adding soil to the top does nothing. Roots wont grow up...
Also if the plant is root bound, chances are the roots wont even grow down into the new soil.

If you can perform this transplant without damaging the plant then it wont hurt to give it a try.
