Reply Buttons

I continuously write a huge reply in the "quick reply" box and then instead clicking "post quick reply" in the bottom right corner, I accidentally go to the top left corner and click the "+Reply to Thread" button. I cant be the only one doing this and it is very frustrating, Ive deleted some of my best posts haha. Ill do my best to remember which button does what, but "reply to thread" and "post quick reply" are too similiar to be near each other and not more defined.

I agree, but I'm for the re installation of the infamous """LIKE""" button first ..lol

uhm, sorry youre not hitting the right buttons?
perhaps dont hastily click before you do and make sure its correct. we do have an auto save feature, so if you end up doing that you can go "go advanced" and on the bottom right hand side theres a note that says "restore auto save" and you can click that
it doesnt auto save all of it though i dont think it has a max cap.

ive never personally used it.

im unsure how you think these two button are any where near eachother thoughuh.jpg

Well, your photo shows exactly how near they are. One is on top of the reply box, one is on the bottom... Are you still unsure? Thank you for the screen shot showing how this can be confusing ;)

This is just a suggestions. I also think the reputation/like system should be fixed first, but Ive installed and maintained forums like this before. Changes and fixes like this should take 5 minutes.

Edit: What exactly does the "+Reply to Thread" button do? When I click it, it just reloads the page to an empty quick reply, or sometimes brings me to "advanced reply". Why have buttons that do the same thing?

Unless some folks have the quick reply box turned off, I dont see why anyone would need this button.

Thank you for mentioning the auto save.

hit the right button...be happy

Hit the wrong button....LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKE

maybe to you man, ive never had a complaint since 08 about this.

its only you on this one.
