Replenish co2 in sealed

Is it a good idea to install a Co2 tank, a Co2 Bag or a 5Gal of Sugar/Yeast only to maintain Co2 level in the 300-400ppm safe range, that way i could run sealed and have a better control over environement sinice winter is comming and im running with LED and they require higher temperature. Also it will be easier to maintain a good humidity level in the room and the rest of the house.

-4x4' Flowering Area : 400W COBs but planning on raising it to 600W
-4x4' Veg Area : 200W COBs
-Planning to expand Floweing area to 4x8' with two 600W COBs
-I will constantly having 4 plant under each lamp.
-Not planning on raising level in the 1200-1500ppm range (Not before a long time for sure... too much things to dial in and learn before...)

Right now i recirculate air inside the house and basement windows are always open, it seem to work fine to keep up with the co2 level. Now that winter is comming i will want to keep those windows closed and i dont think me breathing insisde the house arround 10-12h a day will be enough, so im planning to seal this room to have a better control of the environement.

What are your opinions? Others guys here running co2 just to maintain minimal level or is it stupid idea?

What are typical Carbon Dioxide levels in indoor and outdoor air?
  • Carbon dioxide CO2 levels outdoors near ground level are typically 300 ppm to 400 ppm or 0.03% to 0.040% in concentration.
  • Carbon dioxide CO2 levels indoors in occupied buildings are typically around 600 ppm to 800 ppm or 0.06% to 0.08% in concentration. You'll find this data in many indoor air quality articles and books and it's consistent with what we find typically in our own field measurements.
  • Carbon dioxide CO2 levels indoors in an inadequately vented space with heavy occupation is often measured around 1000 ppm or 0.10% in concentration. I have measured levels around 1200 ppm in occupied basement offices in a hospital where the staff worked in an area which had no decent fresh air intake into their ventilation system. I

600-800 in occupied building... With how many humans breathing and how many hours a day? I Doubt one human breathing mostly at nights inside the house is enough for 16 plants, if im wrong, why people bother venting outside, beside to get rid of the heat in the summer?

Last winter i ran 4 plants in flower and 6 in veg while recirculating only inside the house and i had terrible results, stunned growth and lots of weird deficiency, maybe it was not a co2 problem, who know and pretty novice to this!

You have to give the plant fresh air. I’ve seen my old co2 meter go up in my bedroom over the night to staggering levels. You’d be surprised how much co2 is in the typical family home. You can search the web and find these sort of levels aren’t uncommon. I don’t bother worrying with co2 in my rooms anymore. I have my geothermal pulling fresh air from outside feeding my rooms and exhausting to rid myself of stagnant air.
