Rep Icons?

hi guys.

i was wondering what it means when someone gives me rep and on my riu page it shows a blue square infront of it. like the rep isnt legit or something.

seems it doesnt count on the overall rep ive recieved.

are you helping for rep points ? or to help ? ...i get the gray dots and that feeds my soul .thanks from one of our new members ,sometimes rep from new members means more than a node from some of the old timers
 
just curious on the mechanics of the site man :P been wondering about that colour for a while and just had to find out :)
