LUDACRIS New Member Sep 27, 2009 #22 when running a timer with high powered lamps you need a contactor wired as well. a normal timer will burn out and jamm the lights on or off. thats if it dosent go on fire first. any old timer will fail and is a danger to any garden. LUDA.
