Renewal

I remember reading somewhere renewal should take 35 days or less and it's been 38 days since I received the certified mail receipt from my renewal app , still have a couple weeks left on my current card, am I getting impatient or should I be on the horn ?

They have to notify you within 35(?) days if you are being rejected. I don't remember if it is 30 or 35 days. Either way you should be in the clear now. The actual card may not arrive for a couple weeks though. I don't know how long they are taking these days.

thanks, I hope they get the card here before the old one expires, last time I waited a little long, this time I thought I was giving them plenty of time.

I mean how hard can it be? enter a few numbers in a computer and a machine does the rest.The first card I got took forever and a day. was during the big rush I think.

Everything is hard when you rob the fund and leave too few people on staff to keep up with demand...

got my card today, took like 40 days.

I took my renewal in tuesday so I should get it by the end of october I also got a ballot in the mail from the state explaining amendment 64 on the legalization of ganj I hope it dosent pass us mmj patients will loose out its better the way it is now only us mmj patients can be legal.

Personally I really hope it passes, it will be better for everyone all around.

The only thing that doesn't really make a whole lot of sense is that an 18 year old can get a card, but wouldn't
be able to purchase in new legal establishments until 21. I could see the dispensaries becoming an outlet for 18
year old's who have cards and are supplying all their friends.

Just my opinion brother alot of patients thst I know here in colorado feel the same way.But hey lets see what happens in november.

NavySEALsVet - how do you think patients would be harmed by A64 passing? I don't see anything in the amendment that would harm patients. In fact, I believe any step towards full legalization is ultimately good for patients.

cali had their chance and turned their nose up at it, I won't voice my opinion about why I think that is but it has to do with money.here the profit has basically already been taken out of the picture for the average grower (although you couldn't tell this by the craigslist ads) lets do this and set an example.

For the love of money.

some people got it bad and the only way they THINK they're gonna have money is to grow a big ass backyard full of weed and SELL it all "LEGALLY". I don't like the backwards progress and consider ANY harm done to the MMJ world is brought on by people abusing the system. These same people are now feeling the heat, they get none of my sympathy , they've brought it on themselves and the victim are the people trying to comply. The people exploiting the system don't deserve to be part of it.

and as we've seen if you go to a thread and even mention politely your feelings on the subject you'll be attacked by the mob that does support exploiting the system, to those I say go fuck yourself and take it like a man when it comes your time. Put yourself in that place and you have no one to blame but yourself BUT you will blame your country. get the fuck out.

I'm new to this forum, and I have a question concerning renewals. Can anyone give me some info on any private caregivers/growers in the Colorado Springs/Pueblo area? While waiting for my renewed card, my old one expired. I can't use a dispensary with just my paperwork, so I'm kind of screwed. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

this happened to me and yes you're screwed , I have found in a few cases on craiglist that some of those people don't even ask to see a card, a sale is a sale.
