soo I have my app, doc rec, photocopied ID and check ready to go,

now from what I understand you will be denied if you send in a copy of the paperwork rather then the originals. Now what if the paperwork with the docs signature etc. is faxed or emailed to you such as in my case? It is the "original" but mimics a copy..I mean I could photocopy it and it would look the same but its all original.
ALSO
Is it correct that you only receive a letter back from the state if its a denial letter? and if you qualify you do not receive anything back in the mail?

I would just mail the originals with certified mail, so you have paperwork saying when you mailed it and also keep your money order receipt. I also made a few copies of all my paperwork, one to keep in my grow room, one to keep in the car and stuff like that. From what I've heard you only get a letter back (within 21 days) if you've been denied. I don't know anything about the copies of the papers, I sent in the originals because I wanted to do everything right and not get denied for something stupid. I mailed in my stuff in Feb. and haven't received anything back yet. I know they are super backed up as of now. A friend of mine just got her card in the mail in April, she had applied for it back in October of last year. good luck! =)

If you are not denied you will receive no notification and will be legal 21 days after the state has cashed your check. You should keep a copy of the check, proof it was cashed and make sure your mail was certified so you have proof of when it would arrive to the state. After the 21 days those pieces of material are your temporary card until one is issued.

I'm not sure about if it can be a copy or not. I faintly remember hearing something similar to that so unless you get a clear answer make sure you send the original. It will save you money if you do get denied if they are copies. When I received my doctor recommendation I was given all original documents so it would be something to check into with the doctor.
