Refrigerator grow?

Thinking of super stealthy grow boxes, has any one ever tried to make a seedling cab out of a mini fridge? Just wondering if i'm gonna be the one to try and pioneer this.. And i'm more than welcome to ideas and thoughts to possible problems with it. I'm sure i'm gonna have to have some pretty good ventilation as i can see heat being built up enormously. I was thinking possibly going with LED's to help that as this will only be for seedlings. Any thoughts?

I've seen many mini-fridge grows. The only successful ones had holes cut out of the body for ventilation.

Also, a fridge is insulated so it will trap the heat. It doesn't matter if you use LED, heat is generated by electricity.

Ahh i see. I figured I'd have to cut the body up. No big deal. I just saw people using cfl's in their mini fridge so I'll probably end up going with those and try to keep the heat manageable with pc fans. Thanks for the help man!

Do I leave the actual cooling system intact? Just found out we have a full sized double door fridge at my disposal.. so golden
It's far cheaper to run fans then refrigeration, but I would definitely keep it intact, if possible. I dunno where you live, but I've lived in places where summer heat would kill a crop indoors without A/C.
