Reflow soldering XP-E and XP-G3 to mcpcbs

Do you know if they can make custom PCBs for 5630 (or other) sized leds?

They aren't in their normal inventory but I see they have a subscription service.

Otherwise I'll just wait for the new xp-g3s

I emailed that same question a few weeks ago and never got a response back. I am very interested as well.

For the bigger build I used an aluminum door frame from the 70's (works like a charm my friends but I imagine windows as well). I gutted the Blackdog and separated the two PCBs and heatsinks with CXB-3590s in between. I also took out their emitters in white, IR and UV as well as green. I think 5 of the 6 UV diodes were dead or became dead after the extra heat I hit them with. Ill post some pictures of that a different day. Driving the 3590's at 2100ma so its cranking the white but I probably screwed that up.

What ud diodes did you use?

I left them out but Blackdog seemed to only use cheap epistars. I think they are rated 3w. Their line ranges from nir to uva....All lugs

I personally would be very interested in seeing how many Oslons you can get on a 140 mm mcpcb round (to fit the 140mm pin fin heatsinks with the contacts near the outer edges? I also would really like to use a larger board (maybe 12 inch by 6 inch) and how many Oslons could fit.

based on 3 watts per chip 25 would be around 75 watts, you probably would not want much more
