Reflectors a reflecting!!!

I have always wondered what a difference a reflector would make on my homemade super multi CFL fixture. Thinking I was losing too much light upwards, I decided to make a half assed cardboard reflector with Mylar Lining to model a future hand bent aluminum one. Well the results are astonishing.

Just with my cheap 3 way light meter the measurements are way way different. Before the reflector, when you got 8 inches away from the farthest point of the light the meter would fall from pinned at 2000 (Not sure what unit it measures in, it just says light and dark) to about 1500 and by the time I got to the top of the pot that the plant is in(a little over 2 foot) its just a little under 1000. With the reflector, it dont even start falling off until you get to the top of the pot. It stays pinned at 2000 at every budsite on my plant from top to bottom. Time to build a permanent one.

Any Ideas about what type of aluminum to use, and how to finish the "reflective" side? I have a siding break that will be bending the material.
Should I polish it to a chrome type finish or just give it the futuristic grinder edge swirl treatment?

I figure even If It only reflects 50% of the light that hits it, it's 50% more thats not going to waste, right!!! If I could get 80% reflectivity O the possibilities

(Sorry It's 5:20am, I'm smokin a bowl of White Russian LR), Is it just me or does this good weed make ya Chatty??? Fuckin A BOMB
