Reflection Question: Mylar on.....

I was wondering about Mylar and wondered if there is any benefit to having Mylar beneath the plants. Or any potential problem that could arise

It's been proven with tomatoes that red film under the plants increases yields. Not sure if it's been tried with MJ.

Tents come with a reflective bottom, like mentioned they get dirty. I've even seen people cover their pots with it for even more reflectivity.

what I remember reading on this site is that reflected light from underneath is ok but direct lighting is not. (side lighting, ok)
