Everyone, Merry Xmas!
I am a bit stressed seeing the red spots on the leaves just before they are ready. I was also planning to regenerate them, or at least the one that is suffering more (bk that was a lot more vigorous than the other one) and depending on what the problem is might not be a great idea.
Overview: these are my first two plants, ever. It's a coco - perlite medium (60pct/40pct), under an LED. Small fan only during light hours. Temperatures vary btw 23 and 18 celsius. Humidity a bit high at around 65pct, but varies. Overall I think that the environment is well controlled and the plants have looked healthy up until now.
I water with tap-water (soft water in this part of the world). I wait for the chlorine to evaporate.
They've had canna A&B, and recently added molasses. Also PK13/14 at 2ml/l.
Flushing since one week: watering with only water. (No shower-flush).
I have no idea what could be causing the red spots, maybe fungi?
I've taken a photo of the white around the fabric (smart) pot. It could be mycorrhizae fungi, but being realistic I think that powdery mildew is a lot more likely. It could be salts as well. (once I cut I'll have a closer look at it and post my views on it).
I have a 60-120x microscope, and I don't see anything moving on the leaves. I don't think it is connected to the white on the pots. The red spots just look like dead leaf tissue. No pH meter either.
Any ideas what might it be? Just general weakness of the plant --as it's just days away from cut, or something more serious?
