Red shade cloth vs. light deprivation

It's a good idea. Something has to be better than dragging a light dep. tarp over a peaked-roof two times a day - but they'll have to dummy-it-down some for me to grasp which color tarps do what.

Blue and you get compact lush veg growth same as blue light. Red light will produce phytochrome. The sun is say 250,000 lumens so even with the 70% red, depending on purpose and genetics, it would still be75,000 lumens which is double what is needed to flower. If one went from blue 24 hours light or just blue to the red it would speed things up even faster. Would be great for a strawberry green house as they flower even under 24 hours light with the pink 500 watt Shine Knot Inductions bulbs I was able to get my hands on early.
