This is 1 fem'd Red Dragon from Barney's Farm grown in soil under 3 x 23W CFLs. I meant to grow this under my HPS which is still in storage but it did really well under the low light conditions. I would highly recommend this strain for a CFL grow as it did really well under very low light. I wish you guys could smell it, it's like candy!!!! Anyway, I'm gonna give it a few more days but here are the pics:

After inspecting these pics it's been determined we have some male parts that snuk in there. May be due to the low light conditions or perhaps the dry air we've had lately. We put her in the dark for now and we'll be chopping this evening....

the bananas are cuz the plant was grown past maturity thats how femmed seeds are made. a plant is just left in 12/12 till it breeds with itself in other words if seeds are produced there femmed. look up femmed seeds youl see what im talking about:leaf:

How did your harvest turn out? Bout to germinate some RD myself. Hope mine stays under 3ft under my T5(veg) and 400wHPS. You got a smoke report or dry yield yet?

Thanks

Looks excellent! Was there only a total of 3 23w or did you have side lighting? How were the lights positioned around the plant? I was initially planning a 10-bulb dresser grow, but my temps run a little high even with 8 lights so it'd be cool to try 6 if I can get similar result. Great job, again!

Beautiful looking plants, I'm going to consider growing these for my cfl grow. How is the smoke on them? I'm looking for something that is going to put me asleep. :leaf:

Thanks everyone! I don't have a scale but I'd say I got about 1/4 ounce to 3/8s off the one red dragon.

Fredsgrow, I had one light about an inch off the top of the cola and the other 2 hung about 4 inches and 8 inches down the side of the red dragon, also an inch away from the plant. I rotated the red dragon daily. The side CFLs were 2700K and the top CFL was 5600K. I was only going to do this until my HPS came back from a friend but as you can see, it never did haha! I used it as excuse to buy a better one for my next grow ;)

As for the red dragon smoke, I must say this is some of the sweetest bud I've tasted! I grew it in a homemade organic soil mix and fed no additional ferts besides molasses, liquid karma and hygrozyme. As a result the buds that don't stick to your fingers crumble right off the stem. It's like they're begging to be rolled up! The red dragon burns clean and even in a joint and leaves nothing but a thin, white ash in a pipe.

The red dragon high immediately swirls around in my head and face. After some time I feel it start to settle down in my jaw, then my neck, my chest and finally my extremities, numbing any aches or pains I have in those areas. It's a great evening smoke. If you have trouble relaxing or de-stressing at night, or if you have chronic aches or pains, I'd give the red dragon a try. These are the second seeds I've tried from Barney's farm and I've been impressed with the quality. :eyesmoke:

Thanks, bud! Definitely even more confident of the results I keep seeing from CFL grows! Getting very excited now:D I was wanting to order some seeds from Barney's, something about them just seems right on. I'll definitely consider Red Dragon now! Thanks again, Potsticker!

Currently growing RD now! How many weeks in flowering before you chopped her down, I'm on my 5th week of floweing as of 4/12. Did you determine when to harvest based on trich color?
