recycled soil.

do you do this ?
i seen a video this morning , and the fella said he has no problems doing this . i always thought different .
what is your opinion.

I guess if you remove the dead/dying matter, and reintroduce elements the plants used up, it could be done. Seems like more hassle than it's worth.

Yes you can. I used to put all used soil/perlite in 2 clear plastic bags after removing most root matter and rinsing with water. Set double bag in a sunny part of my yard for a few weeks. I do it during summer so the bag heats up and the soil solarizes...Killing anything unwanted.

I refortified soil if needed before reuse. Used the same soil 2+ years...Still have it if needed.

I just add my used soil to the compost, it ends up getting used again eventually. seems pretty easy to me
