Recommendation for first LED light for a 2' X 4' tent

I'm looking for an LED light for a 2 foo by 4 foot tent.
So far I have seen 2022 New SPIDER FARMER SF-2000 LED Grow Light 2x4 ft Coverage and the VIPARSPECTRA P2000 LED Grow Light 4x2ft Coverage.
What would you suggest?

There is a bit to learn about LED lights.
So far Spider Farmer 2000 seems okay but what do I know.

They're on my list... I have a 200 Diablo though and I use tents no larger than 3x3,so either of them will work out for me... What you're looking for falls into this category as well...

Mars Hydro has lights that would work for you too...

Hard to beat this PAR map in a 2'x4', even the corners are ~750!

That looks like the one for you!!!

I have had a good experience with my SF 2000 in a 2 x 4, entering my second year with no problems. I like the dimmable feature as well. I noticed the new SF 1000’s have the dimmable and I picked one up for a smaller mama/ veg space.

Alright.

I'm going to give the Mars Hydro 3000 a try.
I would rather be a bit larger in the footprint than cold in the corners.
This isn't my first LED but it is a big step up.
Here is the LED I bought in 2012.



Trust me it's okay for seedlings and perhaps starting a clone or two but that is really old school LEDs. The type when they first came out.

I don't know if the Mars Hydro 3000 is the best choice or not however it looks like it will cover the canopy okay.
I'll try it out and if it's not what I want there is always EBay.
I'm making another cross and I want to be done before July.

Nice looking light. I'd been sort of waiting on it last fall, but it took 'em a while to release it and in the meantime I bought a bunch of HLG225's instead. I appreciate that they've taken their Scorpion/Diablo series and massaged it into a good reasonable 'entry level' light. Haven't seen many reviews yet, but the ones I've seen have been positive.

I wish they wouldnt market their sf2000 as designed for a 2 x 4. Its not You really want 300w minimum.

I'm a first-time grower myself and I was given this link to a very awesome light which I now have that normally retails for $170 and I got an $85 off coupon.


My area is almost a 4x2 area... This light has a dimmer and full spectrum.

Just thought I would share this as an option since it was shared with me.
