Recipe please..? Olive oil and gel caps

So im looking for a recipe to extract from good buds into olive oil. I wanna make gel caps. The can contain about 1 or 2 ml in each caps i think. So any of you have a precise olive oil recipe? And is it worth doing? I dont wanna go out and have to swallow like 10 gelcpas of this to have a decent high. Thanks in advance for answering me

Olive Oil? Are you referring to extract or tincture? Also known as Green Dragon? The gel cap idea is new to me, as mostly it's administered with a dropper but that is an interesting idea. Is there an olive oil recipe for extracting THC? I've never heard or read of it.

I was thinking about cooking the powdered buds in olive oil on the stove. Im wondering how much buds and oil i should use

I thought gel caps would be easy to take with me and just eat whenever i like, even in a crowd it would just look like im eating a candy or something

I like that idea, but I don't think you can extract THC with olive oil. I know you can with everclear or 151 liquor. Search for green dragon or tincture.

I've tried it.

I bought "00" size capsules (they are huge)
and made hash oil with canola, then inserted into pill by a eye dropper.

The result was a relaxing buzz. I believe the oil has only so much fat that can absorb the THC. Just like when you put sugar in your tea most of it will disolve but the sugar at the bottom of the glass didnt find room. This is fine if you take more then one capsule but do you really want all that oil in your stomach and seeping out your pores lol. Stick to brownies or put butter I put that on everything even when I microwave lol (it works good for lunch at work too

please dont add your 2 cents if its wrong serapis

hell yes you can use olive oil

a good idea would be to use hash instead rather than buds, alot easier to make it stronger so you dont have to take too many

taste test tonight
I used 5.5grams in 40ml of olive oil. After cooking i had about 30ml which made me about 36 gelcaps. I plan on taking 2 or 3 just before eating tonight so we'll see. I think the cooking went great, slowly, stiring all the time, almost to a slow boiling temperature.

A dispensary near me has olive oil hash pills. The hash is broken up into the capsule and olive oil is added. Voila.

Finally i took 3gelcaps. At 5pm. I ate dinner at 6.

It did work and I had a nice high maybe from 6pm to 8pm. But it was hard to compare the high from smoking it and eating the gel caps. Im a regular pot smoker, everyday. I definitly felt the high but at the same time, its like my mind wasnt expecting to be high because i usually smoke it. I thought i wasnt high at all up until 7pm, when I laughed at something i cant remember. Then i realized i was lol. I had a big day and i was very very tired before trying this so I dunno.

I'll experiment with dosage in the next few days. I was thinking about taking 4 tonight, again an hour before dinner.

I came up with this calculation, to give me an idea how high i can expect to be /per capsule.

5.5grams / 36 caps = 0.1527g per caps

So 4 caps tonight would be pretty much like smoking a joint that has like about -+0.6g of buds in it.

Good job cone. You are correct. I usually use HO (Isobutane Extraction) and then use that with EVCO (Extra Virgin Coconut Oil), I get empty double 00 size capsules and fill them with my tincture. If you want the super easy route you can put straight H.O. into the capsule but it doesnt get into your system as well. Ive even mixed massive amounts of H.O. with caffeine and caapped that up for a natural XTC pill. Also Ive mixed hash oil with glycerin a little food coloring and a little bit of everclear to make herbal lean (promethiziene codeine syrup without the phaurmaceuticals) mix it in a sprite and itll even turn pink. I know that was alot more info then you asked for but it might help.

You got it to boil without it smoking? I honestly didn't know that was possible.

I put it on my stove at the lowest temperature. It was making a few little bubbles. It never got to the point where it would "fry" the powdered buds. I was stiring most of the 50min it cooked. I have wasted a couple batch that got too hot trying to do similar cooking before. I got lazy and walked away a few times to let it cook on its own. I think the point is to watch it all the time. I know I will now that I got it right.

And i bought gelatine capsule at my local pharmacy. It was over the counter. Not sure if thats how you say it in english. It means i had to ask for some. I think it cost me like 8$ for a hundred of them.
