Rebranding Marijuana?

Yes. It's not personal it just a social reality. When people see a "420" Dr they see a pot smoker that just happens to be a Dr and wants everyone else to smoke his dank shit he sells at the dispensary he is a partial owner of. LOL!

I know Dr's that don't advertise there support of MMJ but prescribe it when the medical science calls for it. If it is treat professionally by professionals it will be treat professionally by the public. Just trying to force the public to accept the "420" culture you are going to have one hell of a time a total legalization. That is what I am shooting for. Legalization, not decrim or regulation but legalization.
Okay, so you're saying, don't make it obvious which professionals are doing what and hope that the cause will move forward by virtue of it's own merit?

I disagree with that idea. By making it obvious who is a sympathizer of the cause, society is forced to recognize just how many functioning, productive, valued members are affected by this issue.

If everyone is sitting at home alone thinking they're the only one, only discussing it "professionally" (which sounds like another way of saying discreetly) it's going to be nearly impossible to mobilize any kind of movement. What we need, is more open discussion, more confidence to identify one-self as a pot head without fear of persecution!

More of us need to plaster 420 on our doors and force society to realize that the walls aren't crumbling down on top of us, that we live full, productive lives!

yeah but it will still take time to shift through all the bs
like if they make guns COMPLETLY legal
you got to know, that first 10 years there will be an insane amount of killing justified or not
but after that it will be super cool

people will have to come around to it

Intimidating? don't flatter yourself. Intimidating? WTF LOL!

Please for goodness don't waste anymore time here in my thread. Please, feel free to move on to another thread were people are less timid.
If you don't want to discuss your ideas publicly, why do you publish them on a public forum?

I think you don't want to consider what I'm saying, and I think that's a shame, because it's exactly the kind of attitude you're expressing now that does not help the cause.

Gun are legal.... That a whole other wrinkle and a different thread. LEss regulation on gun would mean less total death surrounding guns sales.

So lets make it happen with such gusto, there's no way anyone can take back the truth!

Force the issue into full and open discussion, or else it will only be a whimper echoing generation after generation, like it has in the past 30-40 years.

i dont think the word marijuana or cannabis needs to be changed, sugar coated, renamed, rebranded, or anything other then referrring to it as such. it need not be "marketed" in any other way then keeping it true to the plant & its natural, wonderful, & plentiful benefits. I would not want to see it marketed in any manner beyond the way we would market good and wholesome...fruit, if u will, fresh off the tree or even matured in the sun, raisins.

when u start wanted to market, rebrand, that to me is along the same lines as those would want "factories or facilities" in place that will grade or verify ur cannabis as organically grown or as a grade A, B, C, harvest, etc. The latter is so ridiculous and frankly makes me irate.

but like with everything, the same people that say they want to legalize it, really want to REGULATE, CONTROL, & otherwise make whatever it is that much harder to actually get in the hands of the end consumer AND at a reasonable cost OR allow the end consumer to simply grow it themselves without jumping through some sort of circus hoops of legistlation and law!!!

You siad you wasted your time here, not me, so please don't waste your time. I want to discuss it but for God sake I don't expect people to waste valuble time on my thread. I don't think my thread is really that important.

It's an expression, like 420, indicating my frustration at your unwillingness to consider another person's ideas.

I agree with you. When I say rebrand it is figurative. I want to change the way the public views it. The farther away from drivebyes, Ganbangers and blackmarkets marijuana gets the closer we get to unregulated legalization.

You didn't present an idea. You just attempted to point out how my opinion was flawed.
Yes, I think your opinion is flawed, and I attempted to point out exactly why and how with my own ideas (and quite a few ideas given to me by other people, just as the same as I'm doing now). Is that not the very nature of having a socio-political conversation?

I'm gonna get off your thread now. Clearly you're upset.

Namaste.
