Reason not to run CO2 during lights out

Im wondering why cant you run CO2 during lights out? Is there really that much of a difference? Having trouble keeping temps down but i exhaust air from grow area which will also exhaust the CO2 as well....

because they don't use it then, they need oxygen for the dark cycle only, your just throwing away money running it night.
