If you're using the gh flora trio line, you don't need any of that other stuff. Look up the Lucas formula, and run it. It's all you will need.
Reason for panic? Mildew? Rot? Mycorrhizas? Or just new rooting?

I have the nutes om sched. Im arround 900ppm atm. But we play sometimes. A starving plant is a better worker. Someone hungry, will work harder for food. - me
I will not put rooting formula in the reservoar again. I did it om ny first grow, no harm exept discoloration om roots. The roots om thisone looks the same, thats why om not alarmed by anything but that white mycelia stuff. The roots have lookd like this since week 2 after i transfered from coco. But i will continue and use root and fulvic in foliar, i like the photosyntesis stuff with the fulvic

Thats what i tough when i saw in on the inside walls. I dried it of with Paper and alcohol. When i tried to "finger it" for study, it left no traces on my finger. I am thinking salts melt inn my finger, mycelium would have left traces on finger
I also use the GHE tripart flora series
Acutally its "it" i identify as s spacealien but im not offended, please.

The idea is to make the plant use less energy towards eating, and more towards growing.

so do you use anything for rot prevention? rootbooster does nothing for rot: in fact, it'd be more apt to cause rot with all the organics in it.

It's adding a lot of organic inputs imo. I use humic and fulvic in living soil. I know they can be used in hydro, but why? Using the Lucas formula, my plants look great, at least I think so. Why mess with that? I use the bare minimum input wise.... no cal mag, no boosters, just micro, bloom, sometimes a lil ph up, and a couple drops of bleach.

Its hydro, it takes the nutrients direct, no soil exteaction needed. They drink 25ish liters of h2o per day. And ill varie the ppm from 700-1200 the next couple of weeks for it to know the cycle og life, starvation and abundance ive got a 1000w led nuking them

I only did ut cuz i dont know what the f om doing thats why i try to learn i just transfered 2 amnesia haze from Coco to hydro and ill vegg them maby 2 months. I will not be putting root booster into the reservoar om this batch. And the fulvic i never put into the water. I will om the otherhand continue to use both in foliar spray and mist the leafs. But nothing more then calmag, gro, micro and bloom added to the reservoar. I will also get magnesium AS the buds have some use for this while blooming, but no calcium during Bloom for the AH. My first grow was AH, ive got a post on it on this forum. Those vegged for 19weeks but i was bad at maintaining them.

I get it man. I had trouble at first too. I switched to the Lucas formula and never looked back. No need for calmag and I use ro water. Foliar is good. Keep doing it, but not in flower. What are you using for a preventative?
Yeah its confusing. Fun as hell tho. Good learning experience

Try soil... roots grow easy in them when you not overwater the soil. It's the most forgiving with mistakes easiest to handle and the weed tastes the best!
Some growers never leave it succeeding more advanced becoming a professionals. Some think soil is the most natural medium for growing plants because it's their natural terrain. Could be true ... high likely
Roots need oxygene, not only just water & nutrients. The lack of oxygene is the home of the anaerobic bacteria, that say 'nomnom' to the drowning roots.

Thats why in my eyes it's a good general advice to keep away from citric acid.... it incorporates trouble with more of the anaerobic gram-negative bacteria.

Thanks, put i preffer hydro. Waterpump is 750lh, i do need a stronger airpump to compensate the airstones. I know hydro its more volitaile. Ive got my third one in Coco, (technicaly the second Bloom, but Ill hydro this thread) its an amnesia haze i used a mom for clones wich i desided to flower, she got maby 40-45days left in bloom
