Realistic Yields

I was wondering what Medium should i start my seedlings in and when should i transfer them to my 5gal. buckets.

I'm going to be growing 6 female seeds aero. each in a 5gal. bucket. I'm stuck between choosing strawberry cough and mazaar. my girls will be under 600w's of HPS. I plan on vegging them until 1.5- 2 ft. with that i'm thinking 4.5 ft. max after flowering I may add side fluros if neccesary. This first crop will be grown from seed after that i will have clones. what yield per plant do you think i should expect min yield and max.
When i take cuttings I was plannin on taking 2 per plant and only using the best 6 root developers is that a good idea.

worst case yeild nothing they die best case maybe a 2-5 oz yeild per plant depending on care and expirence with co2 and excellent care.you can take more if you wanted.I suggest taking almost twice as many as you want so you ca take the best and have back up in case any dont root.I havent grown either strain there but the cough sounds good

any1 have suggestions on what strain i should use for my setup(keeping in mind that i want to start off with feminized seeds.) i would prefer a good yielding indica-indica/sativa.
