Those freebies SOS has sent in my last to orders are my first auto ceeds I have ever held. I germed an Amnesia (mystery breeder) and the ceed cracked and split a little, so I dropped it in the medium. It is a tiny little ceed. I didn't see the white tap pushing out but I planted it.
It's only been 3 days, but I usually see a little raised soil or an emerger by now.

Hey auto growers, do they take a little longer to sprout? I have had sativas take 10 days, but I figured the sativas were sending down long roots before shoots.

I am kind of a little excited about trying these!
I have somango, super bud, purple? and amnesia which I am trying to sprout now.

Update: Amnesia has started to rear it's head. The soil is cracked and I see a little peeker.

I read this strain is similar to it's lineage. Sativa dominant haze type. That would be really cool!

I love sweet seeds sweet cheese auto. Dense hard nugs and so frosty. Great high and taste. It has a medium yield but its truly 60 days from seed .

Interesting thread!

So who can give me an idea of what strain I need.......

I'd like an auto that grows not huge but not tiny like somewhere in the middle, maybe 24-28 inches

I'd like big compact buds not wispy bits if you know what I mean

Has a sweet scent / taste as opposed to the earthy aromas

Oh and something really crystaly!

Any ideas???

24-28" would be considered "Short" in the Grow industry.

So I would be looking for short Autos...

I got Amphetamine From SOS... Fits your Bill Too

even my 3' strains stay under 30" ( pot and all ) i have to lst alot
my led's are pretty much fixed so i have to judge the plants by how they act to keep them at optimum distances from the lights and let them grow into range
if you do a little research and try it for a few grows then it wont matter what strain it is it will be the perfect height

bud structure from what i've experienced varies from pheno to pheno you can grow out 5 and they will all have there own personalities

I like them because they are easy as hell to grow...Take little maintenance, and for the most part are stealthy. I don't have an option to grow indoors. To me they are perfect outdoor quickys that take out the guess work of natural photoperiod. I would definitely like to control every aspect of the grow, but since I can't, autos are perfect. For a rookie like myself they are perfect.
