I read in many places that when the hairs get too amber they start to lose the goodness in them and produce something not harmful but unwanted, they look like they should be to me, opinions?

...you're pics aren't so good that i can see if they are ripe or not but you don't judge ripeness by the pistils, you judge it by the color of the trichomes, clear is definitely weeks away from being done, cloudy is getting closer and amber is ripe, ...most people like to harvest when about 15% of the trich's are amber.

Those hairs havent really started receding yet and the calaxys arent swelling. My guess is about 2 more weeks.

why are your buds all wet? also, you have some major issues going on there, probably causing it to not finish properly.

what problem? and its wet becuase i sprayed water on them

BIG MISTAKE.

Spraying water is inviting mould into your buds.

The other problems folks are talking about are your YELLOW leaves, curly leaves and over all look of your plants from the pictures shown. Not a good sign when the plants almost dead before it even finishes ripening.

the spray water is about 6.6, 6.5 with canna terra nutes ppms, and so i should only spray in vegging? i thought becuase it rains outside that it would be more natural

never spray your buds with anything, your leaves have major chlorosis. what are you feeding them? how many ppms? what is the ph of the water?
that grasshopper is a good prescription for mold, aka budrot. ...chuck's right, never spray your buds.

It may be "natural" for buds to get wet, but then what you have is moldy buds out in nature! The whole point to indoor growing (besides growing weed) is that you get to do better than nature -- you get to maximize a plant and its yield the way it could outdoors if other aspects of nature (rain, mold, bugs, blight, pests, etc) didn't get to it.

I freaked out recently just because the humidity in my tent was rising to 90% with lights off -- and the buds didn't even feel wet. I just added a dehumidifier to wick dampness out of the air so they don't get mold. I'm still worried that in 3 weeks when I harvest I'm going to find mold. It would be TRAGIC after all this work.

Keep them dry, and good luck!

No where close to ready. You have long white hairs all over that bud. I would guess 3 more weeks.
