Kind of preference. I like when the majority of the trichomes are cloudy with some amber.

No I don't think they are ready just yet. A lot of those pistils are still white. They can afford to go brown a bit more. When plants are ready they generally display more of an amber colour. There are a lot of threads of people with plants that are ready I would recommend going to check those out to get a feel for what you should be looking out for.

..far too many white pistols, still lots of New Growth, let them fill out!
Order a 60 x jewelers loop from Amazon for about 8 bucks and start checking your trichomes so that you'll know exactly when you want to harvest
