Ok here are my two girls,first ever grow.The one on the left is regular,right an auto.Im wondering if I should start my two week flush,or should I leave them longer?Will they pile on more weight if I leave them a bit longer?Neither has any orange hairs,theyre both still pure white.I keep taking buds off though,having these I cant bring myself to go and buy weed,but also I know I shouldnt keep doing it.Any advice and replys are much appreciated2014-02-07 21.04.44.jpg2014-02-07 21.04.48.jpg

^^^^ They're looking good dude. But to answer your question you need to let them fatten up your close to half way there. There's a lot of young white pistils. At the root of those white pistils is a calyx. You would want to wait for the calyx to fatten up. You still got another month give or take a week

another 3-4 weeks. then flush for 2 more..."Indoor"....I flush as well...gives it a better taste, and rids all the nutes.

Patience is a virtue. Stop robbing yourself and go grab a bag to tide you over. Wait 14days and see where you're at and make a judgement call on flushing then. Best!

Youre all wrong.The correct answer was "yes,start the two week flush,during which time they will quadrupel in size" lol.Ah well,4 or 5 weeks it is.Ill have to get some ganja to do me 'til then or Ill be harvesting twigs at this rate!!!
@ISK,everywhere Ive read says to flush for two weeks before harvest to wash out nutes etc.
@Rwbrock yes Ive removed alot of leaves to let light in to the buds

Well you have come this far so don't short change your yield by rushing to finish. Can't agree more with above comments that at least three weeks will make your girls look better. So hard to be patient when ones stash is low. Good luck. Oh and I'm a big fan of flushing as well.

Not a good idea to take off the fan leaves as this is a source of food...especially when you still have a month to go

Better to do a little LST by tying the stem over to the side or bending the branches as needed to get more light penetration. They look pretty good though. Good job and good luck

Both flushing and defoliation are two subjects of great debate, and at times rather heated arguments
Some consider flushing as using no nutes for those last 2 weeks, while other will pour several gallons of water through the soil.
Don't feel that you must flush as many have conducted side by side comparisons and feel there is nothing to gain

Starving your plants of nutrients combined with no fan leaves to process the energy ought to make your plants big and healthy

Ok so another 4 weeks,and just leave the fan leaves,yes?They grow as fast as I can take them off so theyll be big bushes again by tomorrow.I never thought Id ever love a lady with a big bush lol ;-)

ps.Thanks very much for taking the time to reply dudes and duddettes,may your plants be green and bushy and your bowls full and smelly
