Hey guys,

I have another thread here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/my-first-grow-looking-for-suggestions.965593/ journaling my first ever grow.

So far, everything has seemingly gone according to plan. My autoflower girls are now 12 weeks, and I believe one of them is ready for harvest. The trichomes appear cloudy, and roughly 70% of the pistils have turned a deep orange/brown. I'm also starting to see what appears to be rot on one of the buds - but I am unsure as this is my first time growing. Take a look at my latest pictures and let me know what you think, I could really use the guidance!

If the trichomes are milky/cloudy and you are wanting a more psychoactive high from the finished product, then harvest them.As for the potential bud rot I would strongly suggest that you remove all the effected parts of the bud immediately.

Hope this helps and Happy toking on that dank looking bud.bongsmilie

Nice outdoor auto. (Check out the outdoor auto thread out.)

What strain are we looking at?

I've done a few dozen autos outside this summer. Harvest a couple of plants a week. Each strain is different, heck each phenotype is different..

Me, I would watch it close but leave it go a bit longer, I thinking it will bulk up, plus I don't like racey weed.

Thanks guys. The one ready for harvest is Skunk - an indica strain. I have a kush that still has a few more weeks, and a pair of Ace sativa plants that look like they need another 4 weeks minimum (bud sites just started forming 2 weeks ago). They are all autos. (see pic - the two on ends are sativa, one in middle left is the skunk, and the kush is middle-right)

If it IS bud rot - it isn't moving or growing. I'm going to take your advice, and watch closely. I just flushed her - I believe it's at the very least time for that.

Took a few pics of my girl using a macro lens for the Nikon. What does everyone think of the Trichome color?
Looks mostly cloudy to me, and I'm not a big fan of too much Amber so for me, I would chop, but again I'm not a big fan of too much Amber so it's really about what you want, but you certainly could chop now, or in a week or so going forward, depending on how much Amber you're looking for ? If I had concern of potential Bud rot I would chop. Either way they are nice-looking plants! ..enjoy! :weed:
