Re-using pots?

I was wondering what, if any, are the negative effects of re-using either plastic pots or smart pots? Thanks!

there are no negative effects. only positive by saving you money...

Kero's correct. Just make sure to clean them between uses.

When I started I would sterilize my pots before use. The last 6 years I just reuse them and have no problems.

I'd wash em out just to be on the safe side in case there were any bugs/parasites things of that nature

I wash mine out with 1 part bleech/9 part water roughly and rinse very well. Doesn't make any sense not to clean them, no one could possibly be that lazy...lol.

How do you recommend I clean smart pots? Washing machine?
