re-potting worth it at this point or no?

so I'm in week 5 of flower under 400w of CFL and I have noticed my buds have not gotten any bigger since about week 3.5. a bit dustier and nicer looking but that's it. the hairs are starting to turn orangey brown now but still no growth. so I have 3 questions.

do you think it is just they're maxed out in 1 gallon pots?

is it even worth it now to replant them in a bigger pot?

if I put them into 2 or 3 gallon pots would it increase my yield even with so little time left?

honestly its to late now to make much of a diference.

and 1 gallon is a little small to flower i usually put my clones into 1 gallons give them good veg then transplant right before flower into a larger pot either 3,5,7 gallon depending on how big your plant is and how many your trying to grow. '

yeah, I knew it was too small when I put them in there, I should've gotten bigger pots sooner I guess. oh well this is just a learning experience for me to iron out any kinks in my set up anyway so it's all good.

you don't think they'd fatten up at all?

you can try cutting out the bottom and adding another pot below it as an extension (duct tape may be required)
no promises this is just throwing out an idea

it's just bagseed from a bag of good mids. this is my first attempt at growing indoors so I wasn't gonna spend money on good seeds only to have them die. next run is also bagseed, but I've got a few seeds from a bag of some good shit and hopefully they'll turn out better.

what's the difference between just cutting the pot and re-potting it? if I don't disturb the root ball in the re-potting process they shouldn't go through much shock at all eh?

when the white hairs star to turn orange its time to bring em down...

If your not convinced buy a magnifiying glass and look at the trichomes

I just realized I have a Nikon digital SLR camera with a Macro lens. next time I go to check on the girls I'll bring it and try and get some shots of trichs.

not much no. i transplanted half way threw flower once hoping the would blow up but it didnt work out. transplant in veg all you want. i think when you put them into flower the roots explode but then the root growth slows down and the plant concentrates on the buds. i could be wrong on that theory, just know it didnt work for me

Hey man if you already got the things needed to transplant, then I say do it! It sure can't hurt anything too much.

Ya it wont hurt to transplant. Go ahead.

The cutting the bottom off and placing another pot underneath is also fine.

If your buds haven't gotten any bigger and your hairs are turning orange I would look for signs of pollination. If they were bag seed then there is a chance they are hermi or there was one you missed because the last 2-3 weeks they should swell tremendously. 5 weeks is to early to start seeing receding/dying off of hairs.

Pics would help out a lot, get me some pics and I'll try to help ya bro.

edit: don't transplant 5 weeks into flower, you will just cause more stress for them and you don't want that, I usually never transplant later then 2 weeks into flower, I mean I guess you could transplant if you are very careful. I've done it but you have to really make sure not to disturb the root ball.

Oh and I've pulled 2.5 from a 1 gallon so I would just leave them be.

In my experience bud generally grow in size to about week 4 or 5 and after that they just get ready. So repotting probably wont do anything. Good luck bro.

I have seen a few comments on this forum about hermie plants. In my opinion a hermie would mean both male and female flowers. So any change in a female flower does not make a hermie. Also seeds do not make a hermie. Seeds is a female plant that has been polenated by a male flower. A Plant can be polenated with no male flowers in your growroom. It could be pollen that has blown in etc. So unless you see actuall male flowers somewhere is not a male and it is certainly not a hermie. Just my own opinion here.

Everybody has an opinion, myself included, this deep into flowering(5 weeks) transplanting is a waste of time and may just add unnecessary stress. As you mentioned, first grow indoors, bag seed, just trying things out before investing in good seeds... be happy with what you got and take the knowledge you earned and place it in the next grow.

My .02 cents

Well yes more or less, I've had a plant have both male and female parts, but what I'm saying maybe it was stress related as I've had some throw balls late in flower.

That's why I said pics would help me a lot more.

bull shit you grew a plant that produced 2.5lbs in a 1 gal container i MIGHT believe ounces but even that is unlikely in soil with a 1 gal container hydro grow yes 2.5 is possible
I never said anything about lbs bro, maybe you should rethink what I typed. I said 2.5 as in 2.5 oz's. You would have to be smoking crack to think that.
