Re-Potting after flowering issue?*PIC*

Quick question.

Ive had these 4 plants in flowering for about 5 weeks now (3-4 weeks in pic) and their in about 5 or 6 litre pots.

They have about 4-5 weeks left of flowering and the roots have started to appear out the bottom of the 5-6 litre pots.

Im thinking about repotting them into 20 litre much bigger pots.

Will repotting into bigger pots produce bigger buds in the end weeks?

Is it worth it to do or will it cause too much stress to the plant to repot half way through flowering? If i leave them in these small pots with the roots coming out the bottom will they get rootbound and cause them to produce smaller buds or some sort of distress?

I have no idea on the re-potting subject so all feedback is welcome hope you can help me. Thanks.

these pots are quite small though comapared to the ones im going to put them in, and the roots are already visible at the bottom of the pot which makes me think in 4-5 weeks they will be very uncomfortable?

I really wouldn't bother. If the plant becomes rootbound during flower it doesn't matter (according to what I've read), and transplanting will just cause stress. Plus you are only 3-4 weeks away from harvest anyway. It would take 2 weeks or more for the roots to re-establish themselves.

Just let them go. I read a thread on here which put a lot of myths to bed. This guy grew a 15 ft plant in a 5 litre pot and the bud production was huge.

It's obviously your call but I wouldn't transplant 1 week into flower, let alone 6.

And I have roots coming out the bottom of the pot during veg, and it didn't stop them producing massive colas! They were only in 5 litre pots too.

you can put your 5lt pots into some bigger pots making them sit on some soil. roots will find their way down to the bigger pot.

I do it all the time, no problem, they will love the room..heres a pic of one I did about a week ago. people get to wraped up in these plants, they are plants, they will be fine, they are not picky and are tuff. All this shit, its a no no during flower, come on....Man. Don't just parrot what you have heard speak from experience.

You can trasnplant just fine. The plants will not make good use of the extra room at this point but watering will be easyer.

You could cut the bottom off the pot they're in and just place it on top of a pot of fresh soil.

I used to flower in 5 liter plastic bottles, until i read that its too small...since then, I usually go for bigger containers, but my old 5 liter bottles are still in use; I start flowering in one, then about a week in, remove the bottom of the bottle and place it on top of an identical bottle with more soil in it. I make sure that the bottles fit into each other, then tape the seam to make sure it doesn´t come apart. The stress is minimal, but the results are clearly visible; the plant grows faster during the stretch period, resulting in longer branches and more budsites. I also repotted plants during the first couple weeks of flowering on several occasions...not sure if the stress outweighed the benefit of fresh soil and extra space...

i once repotted half way through flowering and it defo was a no no mate they 100% slowed down on top and i imagine that was to replenish the root growth but i no expert too but if i was u i would leave them how they are! G
