Re-germination?

Ok, well I recently got some marijuana seeds from a friend, I have no idea what strain or if they were cracked. I decided to germinate them by putting the seeds in a napkin and then putting that napkin in another napkin, than wet that napkin. Though I put cold water and wanted to know if that could have shocked the seeds or not. I also checked them repeatedly and touched them without washing my hands and wanted to know if I have done something wrong with the germination if I can retry to germinate them... nothing has happend to them. Though it has only been about two days.

(P.S. this is my first time germinating seeds and even trying to growing marijuana.)

OH dear, well you never know its not ideal dude, its better to have the chill off the water and then when they are wrapped up they should be nice and warm in a prop/dome etc and kept nice and humid, you are a classic case of doing now and thinking later, but you never know what will happen its always good to have had the water you intend to use sit for 24hrs, so what ya going to do with them if they come through ? have you got anything set up for them to go, you cant just make them homeless now can you, do some research fella read a book or mag and find your way around HOW TO GROW CANNABIS then plenty good hard working growing people on this site will help you, and please and thank you go a long way in my book.

Thanks for the info. hope this batch works... don't have the money for buying seeds online and my areas pretty dry :cry:

Good luck man. Change your Avatar too please. Theres about 20 of us that have used that same Avatar in the past, and its not appreciated by the ladies on here for the most part. IVE even used it, and have been contacted by a staff member n told to change up my shit or die, lol.

Im just lettin u know before someone else does man.


Now, as for the seeds, all you gotta do is take the seeds, wrap them up LOOSELY in a PRESOAKED paper towel, and once wrapped up, press LIGHTLY AROUND the seed, not on the seed, until you see a pool of water coming out of the paper towel. Then take your hand off of the towel so it will suck some of the water back up, and put the paper towel on a plastic picnic plate, with another picnic plate over top of it, keeping the towel dark. Now, take the plate, and place it on top of your cable box. This will keep the water nice n warm, and since you have a the seeds in an enclosed space with no light, humidity will be created on its own. The seeds should sprout within 24-48 hours, but if nothing has happened so far with your seeds, i wouldnt give up on them. I would definitely keep trying, but also try not to handle your seeds at all if possible.

Well thanks to everyone that gave me info. both on the germinating and my avatar... I changed it. I think one of them cracked but not sure im going to keep trying and hope I can get some green atlest to sprout :???:
