That^ is where "A Good Scrog" became "My Scrog". Notice how the description of what YOU did is very similar to the picture...2 plants, rectangular net, canopy trained through every square inch...
FWIW, I was pointing out plagiarism, not who is right and who is wrong. In Theory, you are correct. The point of scrogging is to place all the bud sites in an even canopy so they better utilize the light and this eliminates the lower quality "popcorn" buds and increases overall yield and quality. However, as RJ stated, this is only the second time he has scrogged, and it is serving the purpose he needs it for...if it wasn't he would be changing something. If you want to help people and spread your knowledge here, i suggest you go about it a different way than saying its terrible and you failed at this, this, and this, and calling the rest of the people that commented "cheerleaders". It is insulting, especially when some of the posters have been here longer, have a higher rep, and also more posts than you do (myself not included)...now before you misconstrue that as my thinking those are the three ingredients of knowledge, i have personally seen enough posts by them to know that they know what they are talking about. I've also seen some threads where you contributed a lot of good info, if not the majority, so I'm not saying you don't know your shit...Just go about it a different way.

For Jedi second attempt is damn good.
He just barely started training the net obviously LOLZ.
Cant wait to see it a month into flower bet it looks every bit as good as even the Plageurized scrog did. ( Just Ribbing haha )

OP, I am just curious how high your screen is placed over the top of the plants? Also aside from the arguing above your plants do look good and healthy. Do you intend to top the plants now before the flip taking them back down to level with the screen? Or have you topped them already and that is what has them bushy? I ask because they have already grown through the screen and when I have run scrog I kept everything below the screen until the flip. For me I like to get them to the point that the stretch is close to over but there not quite throwing pistils everywhere then let them through the net. It's at this point that your screen should be full but for me I have always ended up trimming good spots off that would be bud because I let the shit go too long. For me to be able to overfill (lol) the screen it took me a few grows with the same clones to figure out the damn stretch time in the screen just to get it close to being right. Have you done other grows that weren't scrogs? If so, how did your first scrog affect your yield? Good luck with your grow, I am sure that with more experience you will have that damn screen overflowing with bud!

My screen is 12" above the buckets, I topped them just before they reached the screen. Then I topped the branches that are directly under the lights after I switched to 12/12. If you go to the beginning of the thread, those pics are the first day of 12/12.
Keeping everything below the screen, before the switch to 12/12, would have been hard to do. I would need a much bigger screen to do that. I guess I could have run less plants but I'm living on unemployment insurance right now and couldn't afford to veg much longer than I did. My EI will run out before these will be ready for harvest.
This is my second attempt at scrogging and I'm still figuring things out myself. The first scrog, I really only focused on the main stalks and let the branches go wild...and they sure did. Anyways, even with the lack of training it was still an improvement over no scrog. The grow before (the first scrog) was a normal grow but with the same strain (AK-47) and they got too tall even with early topping. All the top colas were bleached out. Some just got fried being way too close to the lights.
The yield was a bit better but there was much less popcorn and no burnt tops so the overall quality was much better.
Jedi... the whole point of posting on a forum is to recieve feedback... he was simply telling you your scrog is doing absolutely nothing... haha.. perhaps if it was set higher? or you would have bent or looped the branches so the top of the canopy was even... You really shouldn't post pictures, ect on a forum, then when someone gives you constructive crit. you get all offended.. if your a pro, dont ask for feedback.. fairly simply

Man if dude came into the thread and was at least the smallest bit considerate and peacefull as us stoners tend to be and even remotely tried to help that be a dif story instead the haters come in talking shit on jedis grow that in fact is not a bad example of a scrog grow in which stage it really is. U seen the pix yall know wheres hes at n i can tell u i been posting with jedi for some time now hes now stupid or about to treat anyone stupid if they come to his thread respectfully man it is what is is anyone following along can easily see exactly whats up.

Looks nice.. yes SCROG could have been more utilized but hey everyone gets better over time, I am sure anyone hating hasn't even SCROG'd or started out the same under utilized canopy. Girls look nice and looks like you will get some nice medicine that is all that matters. Keep em green brother.
