I like the GH floranova series with the floralicious plus and koolbloom for additives. I havent used any other kinds but this did the trick the first time and its simple enough to use.

so do you use the lucas formula with just the floranova bloom and put in additives or do you use grow and bloom? i read that you can just use floranova bloom at 8ml/ gallon as a one part lucas formula instead of mirco and bloom from the 3 part line up

I use the grow for veg and the bloom for flowering. Im not real sure about the lucas formula it just doesnt seem logical but a lot of people use it with great success.

i have read a lot of mixed reviews on the lucas formula.. it seems like a great and easy way for beginners but i have heard a lot more seasoned growers saying that it is actually pretty weak and with certain things like a bloom enhancer, a little cal-mag, and a couple other things make it a lot more worth while and really get your ppm's in the range they should be as lucas reportedly only puts most people around 900 ppm
