whats up riu.im in the middle of another journal now but i decided to make a new one thats gonna be perpetual since these journals go to quick.a was flowering with a 400 and vegging with flouro's but ive upgraded.my new set up is a 600 watt hps w/didital ballast for flower,the hood is air cooled.i have a small homemade ebb n flow set up in there now but when i harvest im putting in a bigger res and a 3x3 flood table.for veg im using the 400 watt hps untill i can get a mh conversion bulb or trade it for a mh.my mother plant is raw deisel(nycd x g13 x hawiian haze) and im gonna put dutch passion blueberry in the mix when i go get the cutting from my buddy.im gonna be doing 5 veg and 5 flower and when i get my buddies caregiver card ill go up to 11 veg and 11 flower.the nutes im using is the ones by humbolts but im about out of that and decided to go to the grow,bloom,micro from advanced nutrients along with cal-mag and hygrozyme.the girls are about 40 days flower and the clones are just starting to veg.i take my cuttings at 2 weeks flower so they get 2 weeks root time,1 week transition time,then3 weeks veg.ill put up some pics and any info i missed later.all comments are welcome

problems again,surprize-surprize.my ph pen is acting all weird and giving me crazy readings so i have to go and get some calabration solution and check it out.my plants are kinda hurting cause i know my ph is way off.you can see the leafs hook up real bad.i have to go to the hydro shop in the morning and get this taken care of right away.

Maybe skip the pen all together and grab a $7 bottle of drops. Used them for a year now, never let me down. Only forwaring is you can't use with dark solutions, so no fossil fuel for instance, but other then that so much more reliable then damn meters.

the drops wont work to well for me cause i have partail color blindness.but i figured it out,my pen is just fine,its the ballast messing it up.i tried it with the lights off and it was reading fine at 5.8 then when i turned the light on it instantly jumped to 1.9 and bounces around to 2.5 and wouldnt stabalize.so i have to take my readings at lights off for now on.my plants are hurting pretty bad since the ph has been off for a few days but theyll make it.

my patient was just over and he brought me some really good fem seeds he got from greenhouse seeds.the one that we decided is cheese(skunk#1 x Afgany kush)it should make a nice adittion the grow.so ill get that started and by time i get his card in and can add to the plant count itll be big anough to take plenty of clones from it.

whats up everyone,its closer to chop day,i got 10 days left so im at day 50 of 12/12 now.i cut a sample bud to try out its alittle bigger than a pop can.the clones are looking good and i just topped them last night.heres some pics

the final dry weight of the harvest was 115 grams(about 4.5 ounces),not bad but i should be getting .5 grams a watt and that almost double that so i need to figure something out.any advice would be great if any one can help

Wasn't your first grow soil? It just doesn't yield like hydro does IMO, so wait until you get a hydro harvest b4 jumping to conclusions about what your doing.

I run .7EC for clones, 1.3 for early veg maxing around 1.7-1.8 for full veg... I never get there though cuz I'm already into the bloom. In bloom I like to run around 2.0 ec if I can, sometimes a touch more sometimes a touch less, like week 1 of bloom I might mix 50/50 bloom and grow to around 1.9. Then weeks 2-6 run 2.0 EC and then week 7 run 1.6 week 8 flush.

These EC values include 0.2EC for my base water, so if your using RO or similar low ppm water, subtract that from my values.

Here's a table to help you convert to .5 ppm or .7 ppm since i'm not sure what you use.

its been a while since ive updated so i hought i would do that.my five girls in the flower tent is loving the screen and starting to form some trics,there at about 3 weeks flower and have another 5 to go.my clones rooted and i just transplanted them into some ffof soil.i also have my new momma started wich is blueberry x bubblegum from g13 labs.

Lookin good. Maybe you could fill out your screen a bit more before flipping to 12/12? just looks a touch thin for week 3. Curious to see some of that blueberry x bubblegum, I got one of those freebies also. I'm still in love with G13 Pineapple Express & World of Seeds Afgan Kush but always on the lookout for good strains.

Hell yeah! This is just what I've been looking for. I ordered some Raw Diesel last week and have been looking for a grow journal to see how the plant grows. Glad I came across this, will be sub'ed.
