Hey,
Today there were multiple raids and Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) activity at several LA and Costa Mesa (Orange County) collectives today. The details are still coming in.
Natural Remedies Caregivers on Western in LA was visited by CA LEO (not sure which agencies and if there were feds involved). I sent a friend over to video tape and I called the breaking news hotlines. LA Times showed up.
There will be a protest outside Costa Mesa City Hall (don't aske me why they would protest outside a building that will be empty on Saturday).

I hope I am posting this in the right place.
TODAY, March 4th - Two Costa Mesa clubs that I frequent were visited by LEO. They were told to close up shop and were issued citations mostly relating to improper business permit, public nuisance, etc. Though I have not confirmed my suspicions, I am guessing that the police are going around to all the Costa Mesa shops today and doing the same thing indiscriminately, basically attempting to shut down the entire city within their jurisdiction.
Both clubs have told me they will re-open tomorrow and they will be fighting these citations. For the sake of MMJ in OC, I hope all other clubs that were cited today, follow suit.
There will be a protest on Saturday morning at 11AM. I have been instructed to direct volunteers or queries for additional details to call my friend J, operator of Medmar, one of the two co-ops mentioned here. If you PM me I will give you his name and direct phone#, but I don't want to broadcast it in this message.
The protest will take place in front of Costa Mesa City Hall at 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, just up the street from Medmar, at 11AM Saturday March 6. Please come support the cause.
