There wouldn't even be an industry if not for those guys. Do I approve ? No, but I'm not ignoring the very obvious fact that we all know where innovation in terms of cannabis genetics and growing practices came from and still come from to this day. It isn't the legal market. You may not like it but the BM created the industry and culture and continues to shape it.

Lol, i never said what i liked or not. I was BM before medical and medical before big ag and etc...now im with legal Cannabis...

Theirs no hard feelings just, legit industrial growing can grow fire at cost it just takes the right people. Theirs a reason why theirs top shelf cannabis and regs...and its not always the genetics fualt.


Homegrows have the market on quality but what happens when LP's figure out how to grow right and produce quality at cost. Not everyone does it but thats simply an outcome not something thats set... if that makes sense..


If you truly believe innovation happens more on the BM id say innovation happens with repetituon and variation...by this years end mark i will have produced soley 17k + plants for my part of our operation. Thats a lot of possibilty for innovation...not really an argument just perspectives

You know damn well no large scale LP in Canada is going to grow fire anytime soon. They don't even know they need to grow fire. They miss the nuanance required for fire. They think a spreadsheet that optimizes yield and tested THC % can guide them to the promise land. Details like smell and looks and subjective effect when consumed that are hard to quantify, their at least 5 years from realizing that their spreadsheet not accounting for those thing is the reason their growing shitty bud that isn't selling.

I keep on growing better for less than I would pay at a dispensary. With the billions invested they should be mopping the floor with tent growers, but they're not. That must be embarrassing.

So... nothing happens. I'm not afraid of LPs catching up, and if they do? Good for them, it'll be long past due.

CA is going through some changes , entire families have made a living off the weed game and CA has tried to upended that culture. What we are seeing here is not a dying breath from BM but their rally cry. CA has a problem and its endemic to capitalism.

CA should have incentivised the BM growers into the legal market...they messed up
