R/O System Question!

Hey guys I installed my Watts ZRO-4 Zero Waster system. Anyways I hooked it up over the weekend and it works fine tastes fine but when I test it with
my PPM meter its read 130 PPM versus my Sparklets bottled water thats 30 PPM. I checked my tap with 2 PPM meters and it was over 1,000. Anyways I filled the R/O Tank a few times and emptied it and the PPM slowly gets lower. Have you guys ever encountered this problem. I know the membranes will leaves carbon the first few runs and thats why the water is cloudy. I really would like to see my R/O water in the 30-50 PPM ...

That does seem high for a watts ro unit. what is the rating? I would contact customer service as watts are or use to be very reliable.

I did and I was told I needed to keep running the system to soak the carbon inside the system. I checked it again when I went to bed and the PPM read about 110 so I think its dropping but rather slow.
