I wanted to order this strain myself but would also like some kind of feedback before I spend any money on the seeds. Anyone grown this stuff?

I decided to order "spyder" from black creek gardens instead since i seen it has a shorter flower period AND it's purple so thats an added bonus. I believe sour spyder is a cross between spyder and sour 60. From what I read about it, it doesnt sound like a stable cross. They should have bred it for a few generations instead of just making the initial cross and releasing it. I would have anyways.

I plan on doing a seed run when I get them as well. I would love to see some pics if you are ok with posting them. Also curious as to know what kind of setup you have? I will be running a 6 bulb t5 lamp with a mixed spectrum and grow and bloom bulbs from start to finish with jungle growth flower/vegetable soil from home depot and sadly i'll be using miracle grow bloom booster lol Miracle grow has served me well in the past though, I actually have had some of the most potent stuff i've ever grown using miracle grow ferts and soil..

running 5 female qwixters they look like they are going to be very heavy yielders (maybe 2-3oz each). Two different phenos, one with short fat leaves and really frosty, the other is taller and lanky with sativa-like leaves. 5 gal buckets.
I was thoroughly unimpressed with MDanzigs Sour 60. The most unstable piece of shit strain ever. Would rather grow bag seed before wasting money on those again. 8 out of 11 males

I just dropped 3 seeds in water. I leave them in until they sink then into wet paper towels inside a ziplock bag. Then into a dvd case which i set flat on top of my cable box which keeps them nice and warm. So far i have a 100% succes rate germing this way. Oh and i got an extra seed. 11 instead of 10.

You said after growing his Sour 60's you wouldn't grow hi gear again, and now you are growing his Qwixter??

You said his Sour 60 was the most unstable POS strain ever, but you only had 3 females? Did you mean they were unstable because you got 8 males??
You do understand that every seed has a 50/50 chance of being male or female, don't you? 8 males from 11 seeds does not make a strain unstable.

i got the qwixters and the sour 60s together, smart guy.
If you like growing hemp and making yourself some paper or some rope, buy it. I said the genetics were shit because the bud formations were mutated to shit (worse than any runts i've ever seen, even from bagseed) there were buds growing out of the fucking stem for gods sake. It was sad to watch. 2 of my plants werent even worth finishing out but I thought they looked interesting like some little mutated Banzai trees so I let em go. The s60 is not worth the time or effort for such a weak smoke. no resin
However: the qwixter is a different story. Bog genetics saved Danzigs reputation, pure and simple. The buds are covered in frosty crystal and smell like rotting pineapple. The ones that yielded heavier are the danzig influenced pheno, resin formation is lacking but weight is heavy and you can tell by the leaf patterns they are longer instead of short and fat.
Actually since i dont like you, please go buy some s60 and make a journal. I'll even follow it

They are still a few days away. They are either in 3 or 5 gal containers, using Foxfarms Ocean Forest with a 1000w hps lamp. FF nutes as well, and unsulfured molasses and kool bloom powder. expected yield 1-3oz each

If you want potent autoflower get dinafems ww auto or short stuffs mi5, russian rocket fuel or auto assasin, all produced good resin and smell great, a bit unstable though.

I started about 80 f2's of my mi5 peach pheno and i'll likely end up with about 30-40 females although ive been getting alot of males because i start them under hps 600w(hps produces more males). Had a grasshopper infestation that ate about 30 seedlings a few weeks back but ive taken care of it. Will make a journal after they show sex.

You think his strain is unstable because you had 8/11 male? That's just bad luck. Nothing to do with anything else. Meanwhile the other variety of his you're growing has a short indica phenotype and a tall lanky sativa. That would be unstable.
