You are FAR better off picking up an old school microscope that works well. They can be had cheap on ebay. No comparison to plastic pocket scopes or jewelers loupes.

Fcuk buying off flee bay dude, just don't buy a cheap plastic one. i have a x50 loupe, metal frame too. cost £7.00.

I used to use one of those digital microscopes. Intel version. It worked pretty well actually, but unfortunately they never made drivers for vista and I never could get it to work since then.
