Quick Scrog Question

How do people manage their scrog when you veg in one chamber and flower in another.

As I understand it, you are suppose to veg under the screen until roughly 70-80% full.

Then switch to 12/12. In this case, are you suppose to try and move your plants and screen and all of that to your flowering chamber? Sounds like that could cause some problems.

Thanks in advance.

Well, that is obvious...to switch the light. However, I said two different chambers...meaning the ventilation systems would also have to be moved. It is not easier to do that.

Veg lights are different chambers than HPS flowering lights and are under T5's.

Well something has to be moved... the lesser of the two evils.

Ya just go 12x12 when the plants are old enough. Ya cant move the scrog. There is no doubt about that.

I'm working on a scrog right now where I move the plants physically from veg to scrog. The screens will be attached to the pots...

Hi guys, I do appreciate your efforts and answers!

I think for this particular situation doing an LST in veg, and then moving them under the screen and taking the binding off may be the best solution.

I also like the idea of the screen attached to the pots. I will have to look into that. That is pretty clever.

Thanks again, and hopefully this may help others.

Another idea is to build two identical chambers with identical set-ups... then you can just switch lights to 12-12 and put the other on 24/0.

A bit of a waste for vegging plants, but it is a way around the problem.
