Quick question

I dont have much room to grow in my back yard, so is it possible to grow a couple of different small plots. I dont have much space, so I cant space them that far apart. I could probably get about 20 seeds, in each plot, but they'll only be like 3 to 5 inches apart. Will that work. Maybe when I remove the males they'll have a little more room to grow. Will the roots get tangled, and if so, will it kill my plants?

Yeah. Totally possible. You'll get a better yield growing one or two nice sized females, however, as opposed to crowding in too many. Give them a square foot to start, each, and then after pulling males, you should be fine. Half a foot apart is fine too, if they will flower small and fast. Depends on the strain, time of year, location on the map, etc.

I have a 4ft fence so if I only grew 1 or two they would probably be over the fence, and I dont want that. So I figured I could do a few different plots with smaller plants. I just didnt know how close I could put them, without ruining them. So if the roots get twisted, the plants wont die, they'll just stop getting tall, or what? What if the roots got tangled, just before flowering, would they still flower? Or does the roots have anything to do with flowering?

the different root systems will fight for water, nutrients, ect. on the stronger plants will end up killing the weaker ones.

I'm not sure but I think your plants, even grouped in tight together, will be taller than 4 feet.
You might want to top them and train them to stay low but then that would be very hard to do if they are packed tight.
I would stick to fewer plants that have been put out later in the year to keep them short before flowering starts. Good luck!

Fuck the roots. They'll do fine. Just don't crowd the plants and fertilize when needed. The more extensive, "twisted", the roots get, the better.

At half foot apart you might end up sea of green effecting them where they don't get above 2 ft because of stunted growth from crowding...this is ok but you will only get the top few collas of each plant...
