Quick Question: Water Chiller Maintenance?

Finally been putting my water chiller to use. Got it recirculating with a 5gal bucket in a closed loop with a wort chiller. Added literally one small drop of dish soap to the 5gal bucket.

Is there any maintenance involved in this? Should I be changing the 5gal bucket water every X weeks? Anything I should be doing at all?

RO Water, 0PPM.

Since your using RO that pretty much eliminates all possibility of any scale/mineral buildup. If you started with really clean water and your buckets and lines had been sterilized......I have never run that way but it makes sense that very little maintenance would be required,
Maybe if you added some peroxide or something like that to start, it would break down in a couple days and you would be left with a sealed, sterile closed loop system.

I use a 32 gal trash barrel and that is wrapped in a hot water insulation blanket ..helps so that my chiller isnt running all the time.
