Quick question on Lucas formula with floranova.

Hi everyone been a while since Ive been around but been pretty busy. I have always used floranova with pretty good results. I was just curious about using the lucas formula with it. the thing I dont understand is lucas states to use 8ml per gallon with ro water but he also states that the target ppm is 1000 at .5 conversion. well the thing is 8ml a gal is only 750ppm it takes 10ml a gal to achieve 950ppm. it even states 2 tsp (10ml) is 950ppm on the bottle. so which one is it 8ml/g or 10ml/g. I assume that since he states that the target ppm is 1000 at .5 conversion you would be using atleast 10ml/g. if this is so then why does everything I find on lucas and the nova state the 8ml rule everywhere. just wondering what you guys thought and what anybody using the nova lucas style had to say. thanks in advance.

I use Nova Bloom only and feed the plant based on meter readings. Pulled 7.1 zips from one plant in a waterfarm. Check link in my sig. The stuff works great in my opinion.

yes I am sure about the amount of water I am treating. Im talking taking and mixing one gallon of ro water it takes 10ml to achieve the 1000ppm mark.
I have used the nova exclusivley since I started along with the other stuff in their line like floralicious plus and kool bloom along with it in the flower stage. I have done very well with it, I usually run 2-3 plants under a 1k at a time. last haverst was a couple of pineapple chunks that netted 31 ozs dried. the larger of the two had 21oz by itself. I have also netted 24ozs off of a single sativa trainwreck pheno. I guess Im just saying I have plenty of experience with the nova. the reason I am trying the lucas formula is that I am trying to help a few others figure out a simple basic nute plan. a lot of people I know dont have the patience to deal with all the additives and I feel that its not totally required. I am just trying to figure out some of the logic with the numbers with the lucas formula, one other thing I noticed is that lucas states that there should be no need for ph adjustment just mix and go but my ro mixed with 8ml or 10ml comes out with a ph of 4.8 so I have to add about a 1/4ml of ph up to get it to about 5.3. oh yeah I grow dwc style in 3.5g buckets (yes even a 6 foot trainwreck yielding 24oz).
