Hey all.

Just a quick question here that's all.

Anyone ever veg with a light cycle of 20/4 with non autos? (AK's)

Need to share a room with some auto lowryders..and not sure if the ak's will be okay under 20/4 during Veg.

I think the AK's will be just fine under 20/4..but want to make sure first.

Or should I just put them all under 18/6..which might slow the auto's?

Just a MH 400W is the light source.

Any ideas on how I can grow Auto's and non auto's together in the same space with appropriate light cycles that will benefit both?

I'm using the Gas Lantern method aka 12-1 to save money... i'm having good results. 12 on - 5.5 off - 1 on - 5.5 off. 18/6 was another good light cycle.. both for photoperiod plants. For autos most people do 18/6 or 24-0.. i've never done autos though.

18/6 is good until the plant has a couple nodes.
The auto's are in their 3rd week...so they have about 5 nodes already.
The AK's are in their 1st week ... Just starting their 1st set of nodes.

Just need to put them together for the rest of their cycles (the autos should be done before switching to 12-12 for the Ak's..so no issue there).

lol..someone rented my grow room so have to combine space.

You will be fine. The photoperiod plants can be vegged in continuious light. They do not need a dark period.

Needing a dark cycle in veg is a misconception. You can certainly save some money on your power bill by having a dark cycle, but it is not required to have a healty plant by any means.
