Quick Question About My Budder

ok so i made cannabutter yesterday. i had it in a tupperware thing. but i want to put it in the freezer, in a glass jar. so today, i put the chunks in a jar, heated some water on the stove, then put the jar in the water(it wasnt boiling, just hot). this melted the butter so i could fit it all in there.

now that its sitting out to cool, i noticed that its coagulating on the bottom, and the dark liquid is on top. is the stuff on the bottom butter? or is it the trichomes settling? should i be stirring it up so it stay consistent throughout? or should i leave it alone?

ok so i put it in the fridge and let it sit. about half an hour later, the coagulated gunk on the bottom apparently became so collected that it was more buoyant than the dark liquid(not solidified butter). when i checked it again, it was a bunch of butter ontop of a thin layer of liquid. so im good. just thought id let u know
