k i got some jiffy 7 pellets and need to know if there is any specific way to use them. whould i keep them in water? like have them in a container or dish with water in the bottom? i heard they are supposed to be the best... i took 2 clones and after 2.5 weeks in them still no roots.

any help and advice would be great!

No, don't keep water in the bottom. Saturate them the first time, then only water as they dry out, If you keep them too wet you will have trouble getting roots and if you do they will end up with rot.

Probably the case Glass, Now here is what you might try... pH the water you are expanding the jiffy pellets with, make it about 5.4-6.8, somewhere around there. Lost in Space is correct in that they hold water well especially under a dome or in an enclosed container. Let them get a little dry/moist before watering and water with the same pH'd water you expanded them with. Roots need some air to develope real well. Drying out a little moisture will help. To help the water get air in it, have a container, 2-4 gal., and put a bubble stone in it and let it bubble to increase the Disolved Oxygen into the water. This will also help the new roots from rotting from too much water. Luck with them seeds. Hollar back.
