Quick question about an MMPR patient

Meh. No loss to me :)
Wouldn't be the first time they did.
and why do you say that? As far as I knew it you need to send in the original script to the LP. And in order to switch to another you need to get that script back. I've read that and have seen it on a few threads in here so I don't get how they lied.

If Tilray told you that you can only have one LP...they lied to you.
I just found from my lp that you can have multiple dispensary cards (memberships) and only one LP. I recently went with Urban earth meds, great experience. There are a lot of dispensaries that do not charge memberships. And offer a lot of discounts and are really helpful.
I've found that the dispensaries are much more helpful too.
Re read his post leaf fan. Tilray said one lp. Dispensarys are not regulated. Really you can join all of them if you wanted.

You can have as many L.P's as you want. Just need to have a medical document for all of them. When I told Metrum I was switching, they told me I didn't need to cancel my membership with them. The only reason i had to cancel was because the doc from greenleaf wont issue multiple scripts. That way then can get more money from you every time tou are unsatisfied with an L.Please. Tilray was just afraid of losing another customer. The only reason I am staying with tilray is so I have the required proof, ie a container with my prescription lable on it, a current receipt and a valid card with the number the fuzz can call to verify that I am indeed a patient. So I will be making the bare minimum purchase I need to to stay validated. Which is sad that it is the only validity patients get under this piece of shit system is having to buy meds every month so you have a current receipt

Dude! That's what I'm doing too. I tried to contact other lp's but the wait was stupid!

I thought you said... that Tilray said you can only have one LP.
"I just found from my lp that you can have multiple dispensary cards (memberships) and only one LP."

If you have a willing doctor... have your daily script broken down on multiple medical documents...ie if you have a script for 5g/day get 5 different 1g/day documents for 5 different LPs.
One document for your full script is a pain in the ass.

Working with lp's for your full script is a pain in the ass.
Fixed that for you

The system is designed to not work fellas so in hc's eyes everything is going amazing. Mmj patients are fed up and can't get full scripts filled. And quality is always a concern. So much easier to go to shoppers and pay less then$50 a month for pain meds(with no insurance coverage). This is what hc wants.

I see.
Hc made a plan to waste billions of tax payers hard earned cash to pay for a system that was designed to fail?
So the patients can have their growing way?
I doubt that but hey... I'm all for it

No untill the sc says we can grow hc gets its way. And yes they would absolutly waste billions. It's the fucking government they are in the business of wasting tax dollars. The gov doesn't care how hard you worked for those tax dollars they will piss them away of frivolous bullshit like tv commercials telling us how bad pot is for teens. How much do you think it cost to play that commercial every day, every commercial break over and over day in and day out? Millions and that's just for a simple commercial based on discredited study findings. How much do you think they have spent and will spend fighting the constitutional challenge? What ever it takes. Cost them nothing. Cost us everything.

I'm not arguing the point about them wasting our hard earned coins eh :)
I'm yapping about the fact that they want it to fail. There is just to much to waste, having it not work, on all sides of this rather screwy, hard to call it system.

Well you know how mmj became legal. Just think of the millions hc has spent to keep Canadians from mmj over the years. Don't forget the official stance of hc is:
Dried marijuana is not an approved drug or medicine in Canada. The Government of Canada does not endorse the use of marijuana, but the courts have required reasonable access to a legal source of marijuana when authorized by a physician.

See they are only doing the mmj program because they have to by court order. The mmpr is perfect proof that hc wants to to not get your meds and if you do get some it won't be enough and of poor quality.

Putting a multimillion dollar scheme into motion is a far cry from trying to see it fail.
It's impossible for it to fail now. It will only move forward. What happens to patients remains to be seen.

Well isn't it the lp's that are spending the multimillions? Hc is spending money on inspectors and whatnot to regulate the mmpr system. Considering how slow the application process has been it would seem hc don't have many people working on it. I'd guess they have the bare minimum of hc employees working on it. Just enough to say "yeah we're working on it". And when I say hc wants the program to fail what I mean is they want to make it exceedingly difficult to use and access meds through the program. And they are well on their way. But the official program will be there to not work for patients untill we can grow for ourselves.

Here's the thing.
Right now in Canada, if you are sick, have proof, you can grow!
There isn't a judge in Canada that would convict you.
The only issue I see, is with rec smokers needing a license.
That's the problem the way I see it.

..... making it legal for all, is the way I see it going. It's just going to take a few years of BS to get it done right.

I agree with you. If the cops kick your door in You would still get charged but no judge will convict. Legal for all won't happen unless there is a liberal majority. It would be nice if it was legal for all but that not my concern any more. Being legally allowed to grow my own meds without the threat of arrest and harrasment is what concerns me. After that then we can work on ending prohibition.

One think to keep in mind...
The big challenge from Conroy is availability and access to mmj...affordability is secondary.
If the current MMPR (LPs) cannot offer availability and access then HC will lose in Feb court date.
That is fact.
So now ask yourself this...does HC want to lose the court case?

No but they are letting the lp's choose prices. What's the cheapest gram of bud not shake you can find from any lp right now? $5 is The lowest I can recall seeing openly listed on a lp website. That's still way to expensive. Lp's can never come close to what you pay to grow your own.

OK, so we agree that HC doesn't want to lose the court case.
To not lose, the LPs have to be supplying patients with mmj. HC will probably argue that there is sufficient supply...PPS has lots to sell. Conroy would counter with the fact that PPS doesn't have the strain selection etc...Most LPs cannot pass the testing right now, huge problem for HC.
Price is secondary....growing your own is obviously the least expensive option.
HC wants the LPs to succeed. HC needs the LPs to succeed or they lose the court case.
The MMAR "stay" saved HC's ass...

I hope that detailed examples of lack of availability are reaching Conroy...
