Quick Farm farm trio question

Those of you using Fox Farm trio, AND using nutes every water at a smaller amount, what does your feeding GALLON look like? I'm looking to start feeding every watering but at lower dosage and was thinking:

Mix per 1g:
2 tsp Big Bloom
1 tsp Grow Big
1 tsp Tiger Bloom
.5 tsp Kangaroots Root Drench (those beneficial microbes) :mrgreen:
What do you guys think? Good or too strong?

I've never used the 'Farm farm trio' but I'll be money on the fact that that's too strong. Change your dosage from tsp to mls and I think you'll be good.

LOL oops. That is half strength, some even less than half strength. Which is why I was asking for people using it, but thanks guys!

I've been using a mix of 2tsp Alaska fish emulsion, 1 tsp Tiger Bloom and 1/4cup Big Bloom per gallon of water every watering for the past 4 or 5 waterings. I had been just using Big Bloom since flowering, but they started looking pale. Since switching over to this mix they are looking good.

Oh wow you use a lot of that big boom eh. I just rwd mine with that formula minus the grow big, figure they dont need that so much in flow

after reading the recipie in the op i am confused. what stage of growth is that for, and are you mixing that all up in a single gallon of water? why are you using the full dose of both bloom and veg nutes plus the big bloom in the same gallon? also understand that the big bloom is just a growth enhancer and barely has an npk. using it in teaspoons is a waste of time. when i used the trio i never mixed the bb with the standalone ferts. i only used it between feedings. i don't understand what growth stage that recipie is for.

i use the liquids and the solubles but not the bush doctors yet. i dont feed them the first 3 weeks of veg, except maybe a small amout of big bloom. which i really a soil conditioner and not very strong.

around the middle of week 3 veg. i will give them about 1/4 strength maybe a little less, so not to burn them and to help them get used to the nutes. and only feed every other watering. you will increase the dosage slowly over the next couple of weeks.

i veg for about 6 or 7 weeks, so i modify the veg. schedule a little different than the chart. i used to keep track of each plant and feed every other watering, but they all dont need to be watered the same time every time. so by week 6 of veg. i am feeding them every watering but at half dosage. that will also very slightly from how each plant is looking. i mix full strength liquids and 1/4 tsp. of the solubles in a gal. of water. lets say the plant needs about 32 oz of water. i use 16 oz.full strength nutes and 16oz. of plain water. adjust the ratio of nutes to plain water stronger or weaker depending on what the plant needs.

so all in all they get fed about 1/2 strength every water. but you need to read the plants and do what works best for you.

yeah i mix all that is on the feeding schedule in the same bottle of water.

The growth stage varies, I have a perpetual going. Which is why I want one basic recipe for all of my flowering plants. I'm not going to increase/decrease with plants varying life span. Yes, it's all going in 1g jug which I then use a cup to water after i shake it up well. I decided to skip the Grow Big since it's really a veg nute anyway. I'm 12/12 from seed so I don't give any nutes for veg, just let the FFOF do it's work. Then when I see pistils, I begin to feed. I have to disagree about using it in small amounts being a waste of time. Every little bit is going to help, I'm trying not to burn.

Thanks for the replies and opinions, I began my recipe yesterday minus the grow big listed in the first post. So I'm hoping I'll see some improvements of my yellowing/bronzing girls. :(

how many weeks in are you? i would of had the lights at 24/0 or 18/6 for the 1st 2 weeks after the seed pops through the soil. figure a week as a seedling and a week of veg. before switching to 12/12. the plant needs to mature before starting to flower anyways, so why not veg. a little first. but either way you will be fine. any pics?

if you look at the feeding schedule it does use some grow big part way through flowering to help keep the plant green until ready for harvest.

maybe the ffof will help but i am not sure whats in that soil. i use promix or sunshine mix for a medium.

big bloom will never burn ANY plant. check the bottle. to use it in teaspoons is a waste of time because there's not much in there. it's basically a soil conditioner rather than a fert. it would never sustain a plant by itself, and it's designed for all growth stages (the name "big bloom" is misleading that way). i wouldn't use it on a seedling but i wouldn't worry too much if i did. i really think you are setting yourself up for a headache by planning out an exact formula like this. feed schedules should be a guideline only, and the plants reaction to this precise formula remains to be seen. you may find that some plants will burn with this formula and others may show deficiancies, particularly since you are growing from seed and may get varying phenotypes.

when i used the trio i fed like this: (not suggesting you do this, it's just how i did it)
water with big bloom
let dry
feed with tiger bloom
let dry
repeat

the amount of tiger bloom i used was being consistantly adjusted due to varying plant reactions. some were heavy feeders and some would burn just looking at the stuff at the same concentration. basically you can use whatever type feeding schedule works for you, but planning it out before your plants are actually blooming is doing yourself a disservice.

The stages in weeks of plant growth are all different. I start one new plant every week. So I can harvest 1 small plant per week, enough for me/girl to smoke. There are various reasons ppl do 12/12 seed, but that is not the discussion here, not to be rude but I don't wanna start that debate here. I do it to keep them small. Especially sativa dominates.
