Technically you can grow a plant from every internode on the branch. For instance, if you cut a branch from the plant about 12 to 18 inches long, and that branch has about 6 to 8 internodes on it, you could cut just above the internode at the top and then cut just above the next internode down on the branch. The only problem with that is that you now have a wound at the top of the cutting and it will dry out in a matter of hours. So the best way is to just cut 3 to 6 inch long branch tips and root those. As long as you have a tip with new growth coming out, you can clone it.
