Questions on setups.

ok i have two potential growcabs on hand i just need to make up my mind on which setup will work best..

i have one closet box good for a SOG or ScrOG.
measurements: 1 3/4X1 3/4X4 feet(HXDXW.. i know its a small space)
currently has 3 4" pipes inside that can hold 30 clones. flood n drain setup.
plants are about 4 inches frm eachother so im going to be trimming alot!
lights: 12 23watt 2700kCFL's and 4 13watt daylight CFL's
also got some spare 68watt CFL's if needed..
calculated near 23000lumens total.328 watts..

my other choice is a locker from a cable company. it measures 6X2 1/2X2 1/4(HXWXD)
seems good for a huge ScrOG or a DWC.. but this might take too long to harvest..
thinking of putting two flowering chambers in the big closet and divide the cfls.

opinions on possible yields off both boxes appreciated!
i know it depends on ferts, conditions, strains, but im just wondering which setup would produce more. looking for a small perpetual op.. small harvests every 2-3 weeks or even big ScrOGs with 4-5 week harvests...
note that im only going to be able to run CFL's for a while, since i couldnt find a cheap enough HPS system..

for CFL grows the more width and length of your room is where you get more yield, height is your enemy since you need to keep your bulbs so close to the plants. With 328 total watts assuming you know what you're doing you can expect anywhere from .5-.7g/w depending on strain, ect. Probably about 125ish-220 grams absolute max if you're like Jesus of CFL growing.

solid thanks for thee advice!
i have 2 light setups in mind.. i can run 2 of my pipes inside and have lighting above and in between the pipes, with a max of 20 plants,and harvest 4-5 every 2-3 weeks, or have light above only and have a max of 30.. bt that means harvests every 9 weeks...
OR do a ScrOG with 1 maybe 2 plants? how long would a ScrOG setup take frm clone to harvest, filling up my area?
i smoke alot so i need a good setup to start out with!

SOG is much better than ScrOG for CFL grows. You'd spend way longer vegging 1-2 plants for probably less yield. Shitloads of small plants is almost always the best way to go for CFL growing

do you think 4"apart will be a little too close?

As long as you dont have any leaves overlapping you're good to go. The closer you can get them without reducing light exposure is how you maximize yield through SOG. The only way to know how close is to close is to grow, it'll vary from strain to strain.
