Questions for testers and breeders mainly breeders

Been active on IG and here for sometime was just wondering y do only the most known growers who obviously know theyre doing get to test new genetics that will decide what will be released to the public i mean thats like teachers testing albert eintstein or some other smart ass lol . Anywase real question is i plan on making my own gear for myself getting tired of all this elite clone only chucks for 300+ its fire but weed has been fire unless u creating some new type of high or shit will keep me high for a whole year its ridiculous prices are going up so fast lately its just seeds no matter what but my real question is if i was to flower out a male n trim alot of branches off and leave only a few small pollen sites for a count of say 15 females will that be a way to get a small pollenation within each plant my goal is to get seeds but not fully seeded bud just some here n there will do i dont need hundreds of seeds. Please drop advice if you have helpful advice and know about it through experience or as a breeder only

Do selective branch pollination. Turn off all fans. Select a branch on a female plant. Use a paint brush. And paint your pollen on. Use water to kill any excess pollen. Then put a clear bread bag or some people use brown bags to cover them.

I would but in order to do that i believe u would need to have the male isolated from the females and collect pollen then paint the females i wont have my male isolated from the females because i am a one room show dont got other rooms or a tent to isolate a male which is why im curious over trimming the males to just have few pollen sites maybe just the main cola or is stressing a male bad?

Oh gotcha. If you put a male in a tent with fans and stuff. It's probably not gonna matter. It will seed all the females. There's alot more pollen in a sack then you realize. At least for me anyways. My first male seemed like it produces way above normal lol.

Yes i know what u mean had a accidental herm pollenation before in a smaller grow was like 6 plants all fem gsc crosses or cookies crosses i only ended up finding like 4 nanners n my shit was just seeded like a mofo which is why i wanna trim the shit out the male n put him as far as way as i can and leave it in for jusy a a day or two after 1st sac busts
